About The Role

We are looking for detail-oriented Data Reconciliation Analysts to validate, reconcile, and ensure accuracy of large datasets across multiple systems. The role requires strong analytical ability, advanced Excel expertise, and solid working knowledge of SQL to identify mismatches, investigate root causes, and support financial/operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily/periodic data reconciliation between multiple systems and data sources.
Identify mismatches, missing records, and data inconsistencies and resolve them accurately.
Use advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, macros – preferred) for analysis and reporting.
Write and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, and compare datasets.
Prepare reconciliation reports and highlight variances to stakeholders.
Coordinate with technical and business teams to resolve data issues.
Maintain documentation for reconciliation processes and controls.
Ensure data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with internal standards.
Support month-end / periodic closing activities where required.
Mandatory Skills
4+ years of experience in data reconciliation / data analysis / operations reporting
Advanced MS Excel (Pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation, Power Query)
Strong SQL querying skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
Experience working with large datasets
Preferred Skills
Background in finance, operations, or reporting teams
Knowledge of ETL / data pipelines – plus
Experience with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau) – advantage
Automation using Excel macros or scripts – plus
